Green Creed
Being "green" isn't a competition, nor is it a measurement of a person's self-worth. I do what I can to help the environment, when it is convenient for me and when it is enjoyable. My cat helps out by chewing up plastic wrapper if it is left around, as a reminder to try and avoid using too many products that use plastic packaging! He eats organic raw food, and I recycle the containers. That is one of the things we do to help out.
Bio
I am a personal trainer living in Vancouver, B.C. The environment here is beautiful, and many Vancouver residents love to spend time outside. But to be honest, I don't like the outdoors. My friends, however, love being outside. Since they drag me outside with them, I want to make sure it is not entirely unpleasant. I now grow herbs, refrain from littering, and occasionally take the bus. And regarding personal training sessions with both clients and friends, we compromise: their health is important to me, and my presence outdoors seems important to them, so I train them outside when it is not wet (my advantage: Vancouver's practically year-long wet season).
