Finally getting around to an update on my adventures with the Vespa. The biggest news is that it is now officially The Osmosus Vespa. Thanks to the folks over at Pac Blue Printing who did a great job on the vehicle wrap as you can see.

I am now scooting around town and letting people know about Osmosus everyday!

I have been making good on my commitment to the Vespa and have only used my car a couple of times in the last two months. Once to take a long drive to Alberta and another to hauls some folks and goods around on a day when it was needed.

Otherwise I have been happy with Vespa as primary carrier. I’ve taken it to the test with all the kinds of typical transportation requirements that you would expect. Grocery hauling, errand running, people visiting and general duties.

The biggest problem I have at the moment is the licensing limitation of my learner’s license that only allows me to ride until nightfall. This has proven to be quite limiting and as such I am planning to take the drivers test – time permitting – this week and remove all the restrictions. With the weather being so hot here in Vancouver over the last few weeks the absolute best time to be out for a ride is in the evening and I really am looking forward to extending my time on the road then.
